How augments work
Augments add stats or effects to a weapon or armour piece. They drop in rifts, go into the slots at the bottom of the tooltip, and two of a tier make the next one.
Slots
At the bottom of every weapon and armour tooltip
OpenAn empty slot. An augment goes in at the Augmenting Station.
LockedA Transmogger V2 opens it.- Weapon augments go in weapons, armour augments in armour. Accessories have no slots.
- Weapons and armour have 1 to 3 slots. The item page says how many.
- A stat augment adds a line to the item. A Bronze Greatbow with Arcane Damage I lists +5% Arcane Damage.
